Payment for sewer services is due the 15th day of the month of the date of the bill. West Wilson Utility District cannot accept sewer payments and the City cannot accept water consumption payments. The 2 are different just as the suppliers of natural gas and electricity are usually different.
The City provides relief for summer sprinkling by residential customers 6 months each year on the bills received in:
This is accomplished by averaging the water consumption over the 4 months bills received in January, February, March and April, and billing the customers for that average consumption during the relief months unless actual consumption is reported to be lower than the average. If this should occur, the customer is billed for the lesser consumption.
The following chart shows customers when they will no longer be on averaging and when they can resume watering in the spring. Any watering after your stop date will increase your sewer bill and affect your average for next year.
