Gettin’ Started
First things first, let’s talk about how you can pay:
- Online – through the Bluegrass Cellular website
- Through the Bluegrass Cellular mobile app
- By phone
- In person at a retail store
I find payin’ online to be the easiest option. But I get it – sometimes talkin’ to a real human being is reassuring. So I’ll cover all the bases here.

Payin’ your Bluegrass Cellular bill online is my personal favorite Here’s why
- It’s fast and convenient – takes just a few minutes!

- Log in usin’ your wireless number and account PIN

It’s all real straightforward. Not to mention you can use the app to do other things like:
- Check your account balance
- View or download monthly bills

- Find store locations

So it’s an all-around useful app to have on your device.
“The Bluegrass Cellular app makes managing my account and paying my bill super convenient. I probably use it 5 days a week or more!” Sarah B., app user
Payin’ by Phone
Prefer to talk to someone directly? No worries, you can pay over the phone by calling Bluegrass Cellular customer service at 1-800-927-CELL.
When you call, just follow the automated prompts to:
- Enter your 10-digit wireless number
- Input your 4-digit billing PIN
- Select the option to “Make a payment”
- Choose whether to pay the full balance or a different amount
- Provide payment details to the customer service agent
- Get a confirmation number when the payment goes through
The agents are real friendly and can help explain any account charges or payment issues ya might have.
I’d recommend payin’ by phone if:
- You have an urgent payment due
- You need to discuss account charges
- The website is down (though that rarely happens!)
Just keep in mind that call volumes tend to be higher durin’ peak hours between 10AM-2PM. So you may experience a short wait time before speakin’ to someone.
Payin’ In-Store
You can also mosey into any Bluegrass Cellular retail store and pay your bill in-person. They accept:
- Cash
- Credit/debit payments
- Money order
- Traveler’s checks
To pay in-store:
- Visit your nearest Bluegrass Cellular store location
- Let an associate know you’re there to make a payment
- Show your wireless account number or current bill
- Select a payment amount
- Provide your payment method and details
- Get a receipt confirmnin’ your payment!
I suggest payin’ in person if you:
- Prefer to pay cash
- Have account questions for the retail associates
- Were in the area anyway and decided, “Heck, might as well!”
Store staff are generally real knowledgeable and can help with any account or billing inquiries.
Payment Methods Accepted
Regardless of how you pay your Bluegrass Cellular bill, the company accepts most major payment methods, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover Card
- Bank transfers
- Cash (in-store only)
- Money orders
- Traveler’s checks (in-store only)
They do not accept personal checks as payment.
As long as your payment method is valid and in good standin’, it should be accepted no problem!
When to Pay Your Bill
As a reminder, your Bluegrass Cellular bill is due on the same date each month. This is called your bill cycle date.
So for example:
- If your bill cycle date is the 12th of the month
- Then your monthly bill is due on the 12th
Log into your account or check your latest bill to identify your specific bill cycle date.
Aim to pay your bill in full by the due date to avoid:
- Payin’ late fees – up to $5 per month
- Potential service interruption for non-payment
- Damage to your credit score
If money’s a bit tight some months, contact customer service before the due date to discuss payment plan options. This can help avoid unnecessary fees.
You can also set up auto-pay through the website so your bill gets paid automatically each month. Then you never have to worry ’bout missin’ payments or deadlines!
Payment Confirmations
No matter how you submit your payment to Bluegrass Cellular, you’ll receive a confirmation with details like:
- Payment amount
- Date paid
- Account number
- Remaining account balance
- Confirmation number for your records
Save these confirmations with your other bill paperwork until the payment posts. If anything looks fishy or the payment doesn’t apply in 3-5 business days, contact support to sort it out.
Avoid Late/Missing Payments
As much as I hate ’em, late payment fees are a thing with wireless companies. Like I said earlier, Bluegrass Cellular can charge up to $5 for overdue bills.
Here are some tips to avoid payin’ unnecessary late fees:
- Enroll in autopay – payments are made automatically each month
- Mark payment due dates in your calendar or set payment reminders
- Pay a few days early to account for processing time
- Contact support if you’ll be late on a payment to see if they can waive the fee due to extenuating circumstances
- Review billing cycles and due dates to know exactly when payments are due
As long as your account shows paid and in good standing, you shouldn’t run into any payment issues!
