Appointments are available Tuesdays through Thursdays at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. with an outside temperature of 40 degrees or colder to audit. The homeowner must attend the hour-long appointment. The City purchases natural gas from the Kansas and Oklahoma natural gas fields and transports the gas by contract over the Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line (PEPL) to the City’s connection to PEPL, near Hatton to the north of Fulton. It then travels to a station at the north end of the City and out to our residents. The City owns and maintains approximately 89 miles of natural gas mains.

The Gas Department also locates all City utilities for citizens, contractors and City crews. This is done as part of the State of Missouri One Call System.
