The City directly provides water and sewer service to City of Lenoir and the Town of Hudson residents connected to the City of Lenoir water and wastewater system. The City of Lenoir purchased the Hudson water and wastewater systems in 1999.
In addition to direct service, the City sells bulk water and receives bulk sewer from several organizations in Caldwell County. If a resident receives a water or sewer bill from these entities, they are getting water that was treated at the City of Lenoir Water Treatment Plant, or the City is treating their sewer at one of the Citys wastewater treatment plants.
