5 Easy Ways to Pay Your City of MWC Utility Bill

Paying your utility bill to the City of Midwest City (MWC) doesn’t have to be a hassle. The city offers several convenient payment options to fit your needs. In this article, I’ll walk through the 5 easiest ways to pay your MWC utility bill so you can choose the method that works best for you.

Online Bill Pay

The easiest and most convenient way to pay your MWC utility bill is online through the city’s website. To sign up, just visit www.midwestcityok.org and click on the “Online Bill Pay” link under Utility Customer Service.

You’ll need to create an account with your account number, name, email address and password. Once your account is set up, you can view your current bill, see your usage history, and make a payment anytime with just a few clicks.

Online bill pay allows you to securely pay your bill directly from your checking account or with a credit/debit card. There is a small $275 convenience fee for credit/debit card payments, but checking account payments are free

You can also enroll in auto-pay to have your bill paid automatically each month. And going paperless by receiving bills electronically helps the environment too!

Mail-In Payment

If you prefer to pay your MWC utility bill through the mail simply send your payment to

City of Midwest City
PO Box 268896
Oklahoma City, OK 73126-8896

Be sure to include your payment stub from your utility bill. The city accepts personal checks, cashier’s checks or money orders. Just allow 3-5 business days for your mailed payment to reach them and be processed.

Drive-Thru Window

For a quick, convenient in-person payment, head to the drive-thru window at City Hall, located at:

100 N Midwest Blvd
Midwest City, OK 73110

The drive-thru is open Monday – Thursday from 7:30am – 5:30pm and Friday from 7:30am – 11:30am. You can pay with cash, check or credit/debit card at the drive-thru.

Drop Box

If you can’t make it during drive-thru hours, the city has a 24/7 drop box where you can leave your payment. The drop box is located outside City Hall next to the drive-thru window.

Simply place your payment (check or money order only – no cash) in an envelope with your stub in the drop box anytime. The box is emptied twice a day on weekdays and once on Fridays. Payments received by 3:30pm will be processed the same day.

In-Person at City Hall

You can also pay your MWC utility bill in-person at the Customer Service counter inside City Hall. The lobby is open Monday – Thursday from 7:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 7:30am – 11:30am.

In addition to cash, check or credit/debit card, you can also enroll in auto-draft from your checking account when paying at City Hall. Just bring a voided check to set up recurring monthly bank draft payments.

Paying your City of Midwest City utility bill is quick and easy with these 5 convenient options. I recommend setting up online bill pay so your payment is always on time, but you can choose the method that fits your schedule. Be sure to pay by the due date to avoid any late fees.
