As a CoServ gas customer for over 5 years, I’ve tried every bill payment method they offer. Paying your utility bill on time is essential to avoid service interruptions, so I wanted to share the easiest ways I’ve found to pay your CoServ gas bill
Overview of CoServ Payment Options
CoServ offers a variety of no-fee payment options including online, phone, mail, in person, and even MoneyGram.
I prefer paying through their website or mobile app because it’s fast, secure, and lets you store payment information for next time. However, CoServ understands that not all customers can pay online. They still offer traditional routes like mailing a check or visiting authorized payment locations.
Below I’ll explain the major ways to pay your CoServ gas bill and highlight the fastest methods.
Paying Online Through SmartHub
Paying at www.coserv.com or through the SmartHub mobile app is by far my top recommendation. You can pay as a guest without an account, but I suggest making a SmartHub profile to store your info.
Here are the steps to pay online with a SmartHub account
- Go to www.coserv.com and click “Pay with SmartHub” or open the CoServ mobile app
- Log into your SmartHub account
- Select your CoServ gas account and click “Pay Now”
- Choose a payment amount and method. Options are:
- Checking/savings account (free)
- Debit/credit card (no fees)
- Enter your details and submit payment
- Confirmation displays immediately
Without an account, you’ll need your CoServ gas account number from your latest bill.
I love SmartHub because I can setup recurring payments, paperless billing, and manage my gas usage.
Paying by Phone
To pay your CoServ gas bill by phone, call 833-890-6264 which is available 24/7. You’ll need to enter your account number and authenticate with the last 4 digits of your SSN.
Then, choose whether to pay by:
- Checking/savings account – Enter your routing and account number
- Debit/credit card – No fees apply
You can opt to save your payment info to simplify future calls. I prefer the checking account option since it’s free.
Just note that phoning in payments takes more time than paying online. Expect to allocate about 10-15 minutes.
Paying by Mail
If you want to mail a check or money order, send it to:
CoServ
P.O. Box 734803
Dallas, TX 75373-4803
Don’t forget to include the payment stub from your CoServ gas bill.
Mailed payments take 3-5 business days to process, so mail 1 week before your due date. I only recommend this if you don’t have online access.
Paying In Person
CoServ has 1000+ authorized walk-in payment locations at retailers like Kroger, Tom Thumb, and Walmart. You can pay with cash or card at any of these spots just like a regular purchase.
Visit the CoServ website and enter your zip code to find nearby locations. Many are open evenings and weekends for convenience!
However, in-person payments take more effort than digital payments. I only use this if I need to pay cash.
Never Get Hit With Late Fees Again!
I hope these CoServ gas bill tips help you avoid late fees and keep your gas on! Setting up SmartHub recurring payments is the most convenient option.
Remember, if you ever need assistance paying your bill, CoServ offers payment extensions and financial aid programs. Reach out to them for help getting back on track. Having reliable utilities is too important!
