Pay by Phone
To pay your HCE electric bill over the phone, call 1-877-833-2555. You’ll need to enter your Holy Cross Energy account number to access your account.
Phone payments can be made by credit/debit card or checking account. Have your card or bank details ready when you call. There is a $5 minimum fee for pay-by-phone service.

New payment option! You can now pay your HCE bill with cash at Vanilla Direct or Western Union locations across western Colorado.

Enroll in Auto-Pay

To help you remember to pay your bill on time, Holy Cross Energy offers payment reminders by text and email several days before your due date. Reminders show your total amount owed.

Holy Cross Energy bills are due each month by the due date printed on your statement, typically around the 20th. Late payments will incur a 1.5% penalty per month.

How do I set up Auto-pay?
Call 1.877.833.2555 to make a payment by phone. We do charge a minimum payment of $5.00 for pay-by-phone. You will be given the option to set up automatic payments. Credit card automatic payments can be set up immediately with no additional verification.
Pre-pay is the newest option for paying your bill. With Pre-pay, you have the opportunity to pay when you want, in the amount you want. As a Pre-pay member, the normal security deposit is not required and there are no collection fees or monthly bills. You can check your electric use daily and take control of your power use.
