Setting Up Automatic Payments

One of the most convenient ways to ensure your Lincoln County Public Works bill gets paid on time each month is by enrolling in automatic payments. This way, the payment amount will automatically be drafted from your bank account or charged to your credit card on the due date each billing cycle.

To set up automatic bill pay, you’ll need to print and complete the auto draft authorization form available at www.lincolncountync.gov/1770/Forms. Attach a voided check and return the completed form to one of the Public Works office locations. Recurring auto payments will begin on your next billing cycle.

You can also set up automatic payments through your online account with Invoice Cloud. Simply log in to your account, click on “My Profile”, select “Payment Methods”, and choose “AutoPay” to establish recurring payments.

Go Paperless with Online Billing

Along with automatic payments, you can further simplify bill management by going paperless. Lincoln County Public Works allows you to opt into electronic billing and notices rather than receiving traditional paper statements in the mail.

To go paperless, log into your Invoice Cloud account and update your preferences under “My Profile”. Select “Paperless Billing” to turn off paper bills and receive your monthly statements electronically instead. You’ll get an email each month letting you know when your new e-bill is ready to view and pay online.

Going paperless saves paper, printing costs, and postage. And it’s one less bill cluttering up your mailbox!

Avoid Late Fees

To avoid getting assessed inconvenient late payment fees, be sure to pay your Lincoln County Public Works bill by the stated due date each month. Due dates are typically around the 10th of the month.

If you forget and miss the cutoff time, you can still avoid potential service interruption by paying the overdue balance as soon as possible. Just keep in mind that late fees will still apply.

Setting up automatic payments is the best way to prevent late fees altogether. Recurring auto-payments on the due date will help guarantee your bill never slips your mind.
