Paying your health insurance bill on time and in full is important for maintaining coverage. I know from personal experience that navigating the payment process can be confusing with any insurance company. That’s why I wanted to write this step-by-step guide on how to pay a Molina Healthcare bill online, by phone, and by mail.
Getting Started with Your Molina Account
The first step is accessing your Molina member account. You can do this by visiting the Molina member website and clicking on “Member Login” in the top right corner. Alternatively, you can go directly to https //membermolinahealthcarecom/.
From there, enter your username and password to log in. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, you can retrieve them by clicking the links on that login page and entering your member details.
Once logged in you will be able to see your account details, claims information find providers, order ID cards, and make payments.
Paying Your Bill Online
Paying online through your Molina account is the fastest and most convenient way to pay your monthly premium or any other outstanding balances Here are the steps

Log into your account as described above.

On the menu, click on “Make a Payment.” This will take you to the payment portal.

Select whether you want to pay your monthly premium or pay for a claim or invoice.

Enter your payment details including the amount and payment method. Molina accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit/debit cards. You can also pay directly from a bank account.

Carefully review the payment details and make sure everything is correct. Then click “Submit Payment.”

You will receive a confirmation page and confirmation email after the payment goes through successfully.
Paying online is secure and you will have peace of mind knowing your bill is paid on time. You can log into your account anytime to view your payment history and confirm payments.
Paying Your Bill by Phone
You also have the option to pay your Molina Healthcare bill over the phone. Simply call (855) 322-4079 and follow the prompts. You will need to provide your member ID number, date of birth, and details about the payment type and amount.
The main advantage of paying by phone is that you can speak directly with a Molina representative if you have any questions or issues with your bill. However, this method does take more time than paying online.
Paying by Mail
To pay your Molina bill by physical check or money order through the mail, follow these steps:

Log into your account and click on “Forms & Documents.”

Under Billing, download the printable payment coupon. This will populate with your member details.

Write your member ID number on the check or money order and make it payable to Molina Healthcare.

Be sure to mail your payment at least 5-7 business days before the due date to ensure it arrives on time. Paying by mail does take longer to process than electronic payments.
Managing Automatic Payments
The easiest way to stay on top of payments is to enroll in automatic payments through Molina. This automatically deducts your monthly premium from your bank account or credit card.
To enroll, log into your account, go to the Payments page, and click “Add Automatic Payments.” You will need to select your payment method, enter your account details, and choose the date you want payments to be deducted each month.
With autopay enabled, your payments will always be on time and you don’t have to think about it! You can cancel or edit your autopay settings at any time through your account.
