There are no sign-up fees or monthly service charges to use this system. There is a small $1.25 convenience fee per transaction to cover processing costs.

To use the pay-by-phone option, call 833-282-0827 and follow the prompts to enter your account number and credit/debit card information. This system is available 24/7 for your convenience.
There is a small $1.25 convenience fee that applies to phone payments. You’ll receive an automated confirmation number at the end of the call to verify your payment.
Pay In Person
If you prefer to pay your bill in person, there are two locations in Coweta where you can go during regular business hours:
- Coweta City Hall – 310 S Broadway
- First National Bank of Coweta – 30501 E Hwy 51
At City Hall, you can pay by cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card. The bank location allows you to pay by cash or check. Paying in person ensures your payment is received and processed right away. Just be sure to bring your current bill or know your account number.
City Hall has an after-hours drop box where you can leave bill payments if you can’t make it during open hours. Payments left in the drop box before 5:00pm will be processed the same day.
Auto Draft Payments
For the most convenient hands-off payment method, consider setting up automatic bank draft payments through the city’s utility department. This allows your monthly bill payment to be automatically withdrawn from your checking account on the due date each month. You won’t have to remember to manually make payments each month.
To start auto draft payments, you’ll need to fill out a short authorization form available on the city website or at City Hall. You’ll provide your checking account information and signature to authorize the withdrawals. There are no fees for using auto draft bill pay. It ensures your payment is always on time, preventing late fees.

I need help paying my bill. What are my options?
At Coweta-Fayette EMC, we are here to help if members are struggling to keep up with their bills. Some of our programs are geared toward special sectors of the population, such as senior citizens, while others can be used by anyone.
- Senior billing cycles: Senior citizens may apply to extend their payment cycles to the first of the month to accommodate for the arrival of their Social Security checks.
- Monthly service charge discount. Senior citizens who are living below the poverty level may be eligible for a $6.50 waiver off the bill’s monthly service charge. To qualify, the individual must be 65 years or older and have a total household income of $15,000 or less per year. Proof of income is required. The meter must be in the name of the senior citizen requesting the discount. Discounts only apply to the senior’s principal place of residence.
- Levelized billing. With levelized billing, customers can pay the same amount each month, based on an average calculated using the bills issued 13 months prior to the request date. This level amount helps with budgeting and keeps monthly expenses in check, so customers are prepared for upswings during months of heavier usage.
