Gas South gives you a number of quick and easy ways to pay your natural gas bill. There are several ways to pay: online, by phone, in person, or by mail. You can pick the one that works best for you.
Pay Online
The fastest way to pay your Gas South bill is to do it online through their website. It takes just a few minutes and your payment is posted immediately.
To start, go to https //wwwgassouthcom/pay-bill and click on “Pay Now” under the “Make a one-time payment” section. This will take you to the payment portal where you can enter your Gas South account number, ZIP code, and payment information without needing to log in.
You’ll need to provide either your checking/savings account number and routing number or a credit/debit card number. Gas South accepts Visa, MasterCard American Express and Discover cards.
Once you submit the payment you’ll receive a confirmation page and confirmation email. The payment will be immediately applied to your Gas South account balance.
If you want to see your full bill and account details before paying, you can log in to your Online Account Services. Go to https://manage.gassouth.com/ and enter your username and password.
On your account homepage, you’ll see your current bill amount owed and due date. Click on “Pay Bill” to go to the payment portal, similar to the one used for one-time payments. Enter your payment info and submit.
Logging in also allows you to set up recurring automatic payments. Under “AutoPay Program,” choose the date each month you want your bill paid automatically via bank account or credit card.
Pay By Phone
Calling Gas South at 877-596-5072 is another fast way to pay your bill. Have your account number, ZIP code, and payment method ready when you call.
You can pay with a checking/savings account by providing your routing and account numbers. Or you can pay with a major credit/debit card. There are no fees for paying over the phone.
After entering your payment info with the automated system or phone agent, your payment will be immediately applied to your account. You’ll receive an email confirmation when it’s processed.
Pay In Person
If you prefer to pay your bill in person, Gas South has over 5,000 authorized payment locations in their service areas. These include Kroger, CVS, Walmart, Publix, and many other retail stores.
To find pay stations near you, go to https://www.gassouth.com/pay-bill and click on “Find a Location” under the “Pay in person at a payment location” section.
Enter your ZIP code and choose a radius to search within. The site will display a list of payment locations with addresses and hours. Most accept cash, money order, and major credit/debit cards.
When paying in person, be sure to bring a copy of your Gas South bill or have your account number. There may be a small service fee up to $2.25 to pay at a third-party location. Allow 1-2 business days for in-person payments to be applied to your account.
Pay By Mail
You can also mail your payment to Gas South’s payment processing center:
Gas South
PO Box 530552
Atlanta, GA 30353-0552
Mail your payment at least 7 days before the due date to ensure it’s received on time. Include your remittance slip or write your Gas South account number on the check or money order. This will allow the payment to be correctly applied.
There are no fees for paying by mail. Allow 5-7 business days for mailed payments to be processed and posted to your account after the envelope is postmarked.
Paying by mail is a fine option if you prefer writing checks or money orders. But it doesn’t allow you to see your up-to-date account balance. I recommend paying online, by phone, or in person so you can verify the payment went through before the due date.

What If You Miss the Due Date?
Try your best to pay your Gas South bill by the due date printed on your statement. This date is usually around 15 days after the billing date.
If your payment is late, Gas South will charge a late fee of 1.5% of the past due balance or $10 per month, whichever is greater. Late fees can add up quickly, so do your best to pay on time.
If you’re having trouble affording your bill, Gas South does offer payment plans. Log in to your account and click on “Request Payment Arrangement.” Choose a date to pay the past due balance and they may extend your current due date.
