Having access to clean, reliable water is something I never take for granted. As an Oro Valley resident, I know it’s my responsibility to pay my water bill on time every month In this article, I’ll explain the various ways Oro Valley Water Utility customers can pay water bills, whether you prefer online, phone, mail, automatic payments, or paying in person
Pay Online Through the Customer Portal
The new Customer Portal makes it easy to pay your Oro Valley water bill online. This secure website and mobile app lets you:
- View statements and account balances
- Make one-time payments
- Set up automatic recurring payments
- Review usage and payment history
- Update account information
To pay online go to OroValleyAZ.gov/CustomerPortal and login or set up a new account. You’ll need your account number from your latest bill to register.
The portal accepts credit cards, debit cards, e-checks, and various digital wallets. Online payments are processed the next business day. I love the convenience of paying bills online anytime from my computer or phone.
Pay By Phone
You can also pay your Oro Valley water bill by calling 877-577-8722. You can pay with a credit card, debit card, or e-check through this automated phone system, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When paying by phone, have your account number handy. There is a small fee per transaction that goes to the payment processor. But it’s a quick, reliable way to pay if you don’t have time to login to the online portal.
Enroll in Automatic Payments
For easy, stress-free bill payment, I recommend setting up automatic payments through the Oro Valley Water Utility. This withdraws your monthly water bill directly from your checking account on the due date.
To enroll in automatic payments:
- Login to the Customer Portal
- Click on “AutoPay”
- Enter your bank account information
You’ll avoid late fees, service interruptions, and save time with automatic payments. It’s the most convenient hands-off way to pay your Oro Valley water bill.
Pay By Mail
If you prefer to mail in payments, send your check or money order to:
Oro Valley Water Utility
P.O. Box 847327
Los Angeles, CA 90084-7327
Write your account number on the check and include your payment stub. Mailed payments take 5-7 days to process, so mail at least a week before your due date. I only recommend mailing payments if paying online or by phone is not an option that month.
Pay In Person
To pay your water bill in cash, check, or money order, bring your payment to:
Oro Valley Water Utility
11000 N. La CaƱada Drive
Oro Valley, AZ 85737
In-person payments are accepted Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. You can also use the after-hours drop box located to the right of the building entrance. Paying in person ensures same day processing if you pay during business hours.
What If You Can’t Pay on Time?
If you’re struggling to pay your water bill this month, contact Oro Valley Water Utility immediately to discuss payment plan options and avoid service interruption.
Some available programs for qualified customers include:
- Payment arrangements to pay past due balance over time
- Low Income Energy Assistance for financial aid
- Budget billing to pay a fixed monthly amount
Don’t wait – call them as soon as possible if you anticipate having trouble paying your next water bill. Their team can help get your account back in good standing.
