Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. We accept cash, check, money order, and credit/debit cards.
For after hours payments, a 24/7 drop box is provided outside our office. Payments are collected each weekday morning. Please do not deposit cash in the drop box.
Budget Billing

This program averages your usage over the past 12 months and divides it into even monthly payments. This way your bill remains consistent throughout the year, avoiding big swings in winter and summer.
To enroll in Budget Billing, your West Central Electric account must be in good standing. Sign up by calling our office at 1-816-565-4942.
Financial Assistance
If you’re struggling to keep up with electric payments, West Central Electric offers several forms of financial assistance:

Avoid Late Fees
To avoid late fees on your West Central Electric bill, make sure payment is received by the due date listed on your statement. Late fees are 5% of the past due amount.
If you’re enrolled in auto-pay or budget billing and have a consistent on-time payment history, you may qualify to have late fees waived if you happen to miss a payment. Just contact our billing department.

If you’re moving within West Central Electric’s service area, you’ll need to update your account information to avoid billing issues. Contact our office as soon as possible with your new service address.
Provide at least 7 days advance notice to ensure proper handling of your final bill at your old address and seamless opening of your new account. If you currently have auto-pay, this will transfer to your new account.
