Call 1-800-895-4999. This is Xcel’s toll-free automated pay by phone number.

Choose your payment option. Press 1 for checking/savings or 2 for credit/debit card.

Paying from your bank account is free and the best option to avoid fees.
You’ll need:

- Routing transit number of your bank
- Your checking or savings account number
Once you provide this info, the payment amount will automatically be withdrawn from your account.
Credit or Debit Card
You can also pay with a credit or debit card. However, there are small transaction fees:
- $1.50 fee for residential customers
- 2.2% fee for business customers
To pay with card, you’ll need:
- Your Xcel Energy account number
- Card number
- Card expiration date
- CVV security code
The fee gets charged to your card.
