Paying your water bill can sometimes feel like a hassle – writing checks, mailing in payments, making sure it arrives on time. But with Spanish Fort Water System, paying your water bill has never been simpler or more convenient! As a Spanish Fort water customer myself, I want to share some of the easy ways you can pay your Spanish Fort water bill.
Pay Online 24/7
The easiest way to pay your Spanish Fort water bill is online at spanishfortwatercom/payment-options. You can pay anytime, day or night – even at 2 AM on a Sunday!
To pay online, go to the Spanish Fort Water website and click “Pay Online” on the payment page. ” You’ll need your account number from your latest bill. Then just enter your payment info and the amount due. It only takes a couple minutes.
There’s a small convenience fee of $3. 50 to pay by credit card or $1 for e-check. But I think it’s worth a few bucks to be able to pay in your pajamas whenever you want!
Pay By Phone
If you prefer to talk to a real human, you can pay your Spanish Fort water bill over the phone by calling 855-642-3917. This number will connect you to NexBillPay, the outside company Spanish Fort Water uses for phone payments.
Just have your account number and amount due ready The customer service rep will walk you through making the payment
There is a $4 convenience fee to pay by phone. But sometimes it’s nice to hear a friendly voice!
Auto Bank Draft
My favorite way to pay bills is by auto bank draft. Spanish Fort Water lets you set it up so your bill is automatically paid from your bank account each month.
No more remembering when it’s due or mailing checks The money is just deducted on the 15th of each month One less thing for me to worry about!
To start bank draft payments, you’ll need to fill out a form and provide a voided check. You can get the form on the Spanish Fort Water website or stop by the office.
Bank draft is free, so you don’t have to pay any convenience fees. And it ensures your payment won’t be late, avoiding any extra charges.
Pay at the Office
You can always pay your Spanish Fort water bill in person at the utility office at 30686 Driftwood Lane in Spanish Fort.
The office is open Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM. You can pay with cash, check or credit card when you visit the office.
If the office is closed, there’s a 24 hour drop box on the side of the building where you can leave a check or money order.
Just make sure your payment gets there by the 15th of the month to avoid late fees. The office staff is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions about your bill!
Mail In Your Payment
Mailing in your payment is always an option too. Just send your check or money order to:
Spanish Fort Water System
PO Box 1798
Daphne, AL 36526
The mailing address is also printed right on your water bill.
Just be aware that mail can sometimes take a few days to arrive. I’d recommend mailing your payment at least 5-7 days before the 15th to make sure it gets there on time.
No one wants late fees! The mailbox also gets very full on the due date, so give your payment some extra time.
Avoid Disconnection with These Payment Tips
-
If your service is scheduled for disconnection, call the utility office before making an online payment. Your water won’t automatically be reconnected unless you call.
-
Don’t use bill pay through your bank if you’re facing disconnection. Mail can delay payments for days. Call the office to pay over the phone and avoid shut off.
-
If your water has already been turned off, you MUST pay the past due balance plus a $45 reconnection fee in full before your service will be restored.
As long as your payment hits by the 15th each month, you shouldn’t have to worry about any of this! Just know the options if you ever fall behind.
