Online Payment

The best and easiest way to pay your Joliet utility bill is on the city’s website. You can make secure online payments using a checking/savings account or credit/debit card.

To pay online

2. Click on “Pay Bill Online”

3. Enter your 10-digit account number

4. Select whether you want to pay with bank account or credit/debit card

5. Enter payment amount and submit

Online payments are processed immediately and you will receive a confirmation number. If you pay with a bank account, there is no fee. If you pay with a credit or debit card, there is a service fee.

Drop Boxes

For residents wanting to pay by check or money order, the city has two 24/7 drop box locations:
