However, with several payment options available, you may be wondering what the easiest way is to pay your Los Alamos utility bill each month. The easiest way to pay your utility bill is through the DPU’s online self-service portal You can set up recurring payments or make one-time payments on your account by providing your DPU account details and entering credit/debit card or bank account info. Pay Through Third-Party Websites
In addition to the DPU portal, Los Alamos utility bills can also be paid online via third-party bill pay websites like Paymentus. These also allow credit/debit cards or bank account information to be entered to pay your DPU bill. Fees may apply with third-party processors.

To pay your Los Alamos utility bill over the phone, call Paymentus at (866) 417-0694. You will need to enter your DPU account details and credit/debit card or bank account information. Phone payments can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Sign Up for Automatic Monthly Payments
For hands-off bill payment, enroll in the DPU’s automatic payment program. Your monthly utility bills will be taken out of the bank account you specify on the due date. Fill out the Automatic Payment Authorization form with your account information and send it in.

If you are new to Los Alamos and/or you dont have an existing utility account with us, you can request utility services by contacting the Customer Care Center representatives:

Once your utility account is active, you can use your new Customer ID and Account numbers to register and access your account online using the Utilities Self Service portal.
You must wait until your utility account with DPU is actually active before you can register online and view your information online. Simply having a Customer ID number and Account number does not necessarily mean that your utilities account is currently active. The Customer Care Center representative will be able to inform you when the account will be active in our billing system.

How do I link a customer account to a utility billing account?
Pull down the dropdown box with Person ICON and select “My Account” to link a Customer Account and a Utility Billing Account. Click “link to account” to add your Customer Account. You will need your Customer ID#. Enter your Customer ID and select “Submit.”
